Sarah's workshops offer a space for discussion and reflection, along with the opportunity to write your own poetry. 


WORKSHOPS ON THEMES:


FAITH
Poetry and Faith (reflecting on poems about faith from Muslim, Christian and Jewish poets, with space for writing and sharing)

Poems that Nourish (poems that are 'food for the soul', with space for writing and sharing)

CONTEMPLATION
A Place Within (an opportunity to consider and respond to the poetry of Karol Wojtyla - Pope John Paul II,  with space for writing and sharing). Sarah's Master's dissertation was on the pastoral use of Wojtyla's poetry.

CHANGE
Change (a workshop that reflects on the theme of  'change', with space for writing and sharing)


SEASONS
A Word in Season (a workshop that reflects on the dynamism of the English language, encouraging us to find the word that fits for us right now)


PSALMS FOR TODAY
Psalm Readings (a simple technique to help people write their own psalms).
Worksheets included.

REMEMBRANCE DAY
Remembrance & War (A workshop looking at War poetry from around the world, with space for writing and sharing)

VALENTINE'S DAY

EASTER
'Watch With Me' (An opportunity to reflect on the Easter story through the art of James Tissot, and make your own creative response with words)
Art cards included that depict the different characters in the Easter narrative.






Sarah can also be asked to produce a workshop on any theme!
Workshops can be adapted to fit into time given - from 1.5 hours (min), a day or a weekend retreat. Costs vary according to context. Please contact Sarah to discuss your needs.
